This piece was created as a satirical parody of the Shepard Fairey “Obama Hope” illustrated poster for an (anti) fan blog who’s purpose is to point out the deficiencies of Al Davis as the Managing General Partner of the Oakland Raiders franchise. The desired style for this piece was a perfect fit, borrowing from Russian-style propaganda posters and taking an opposing view to the Hope theme used in the Fairey piece.
