The Networkfleet online GPS Application was in serious need of an overhaul of the back-end technologies as well as a face lift. In September of 2009, a campaign was started to completely redesign the UI components to make better use of the new technologies being implemented and deliver a user experience that allows for maximization of the data. Working closely with a contract designer the old interface was documented and scrutinized. User studies and prototyping were used to come to wireframe designs and eventually mocked versions of key screens were created in route to the style guide. This project is ongoing.
